Thanks all for your comments on my move to Junction. Moving is a leap of faith. Being in a new home has been a powerful transformation and has even inspired me to explore a new teaching platform.
In the midst of all of these personal changes, Monday night Kundalini Yoga classes are back on. The theme for this seven week series is Yoga for Prosperity. The gang is back, with new faces and a willingness to welcome change. You’ve heard me say before that it takes 40 days to add, remove or change a habit. This is an ancient Yogic concept that applies to everything from breaking addictions to goal setting. Join us for the next 40 days as we explore our belief system around prosperity.
Our relationship to prosperity is personal and it is either about lack or about abundance – rarely anything in between.
Put your hand over your heart and answer these questions.
- Describe prosperity in your own words
- What would prosperity enable you to do?
- What does a lack of prosperity stop you from doing?
- Describe what would make you feel more prosperous
Being clear on your belief system is the beginning of uncovering up the limitations. Our ability to receive is just as important as our ability to give.
In class we used Energy Medicine to clear these old belief systems using affirmations and clearing statements. Energy medicine works on the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is like a tape recorder. It has been silently and neutrally recording all of your life experiences, reactions and thoughts for everything that has happened in your life so far. Subconscious mind can be your best friend or an adversary when you start to do this kind of work. Combined with Kundalini Yoga and the Meditation for Prosperity, we experienced a powerful shifting of energy.
